Sandra-Dee Fleming's EMBA Story
"What to do? Should I be part of this program? Will I be able to handle the course load? Will this serve me in ways other than a ‘box to check”? Will I be able to use the information to advance my career?
The answer to all these questions is a resounding, “Yes!” If you are considering getting your graduate degree, then this program is for you. Will there be hard times, of course; will you have to make choices, of course; but the most important question is, “Will this program make you better?”
Again, the answer is a resounding, “Yes!”
It will make you a better employee: the classes in organizational behavior/diversity and management are bound to improve your knowledge of the inner workings of agencies, and the people who work there. But more importantly, this program will allow and force you to grow in ways which will serve you well for the present and beyond. There are myriad networking opportunities, along with friendships and alumni resources. There will always be someone you can reach out to in order to find answers; there will always be someone you can be introduced to, as well as introduce to others.
The learning opportunities are endless: You will also find you are now closer to everyone in Albuquerque, and that is a very good thing!
