When I finally decided to pursue my MBA, I weighed several options. Ultimately, I chose the UNM Executive MBA program due to its convenience, flexibility, and the fact that the education took place in-class versus through an online program. Looking back, the EMBA program exceeded my initial expectations. I was often pushed well outside of my comfort zone and was challenged to analyze and solve problems in very different ways. The curriculum sharpened the business acumen I gained as an undergraduate and throughout my career, but also provided me with new knowledge and skills that have enhanced my overall effectiveness.
The program paired me with individuals from different professional backgrounds and gave me a better understanding of industries outside healthcare. The relationships I cultivated with my teammates have become the most valuable assets gained from the program. Many of us will remain lifelong friends well beyond graduation.
For those interested in pursuing higher education, I highly recommend the UNM Executive MBA program. You’ll get so much more than a great education.
