The Executive MBA is an intensive, two-year course of study which provides the perfect venue to learn new management techniques, enhance your leadership capabilities and round out your skill set. And the program is designed with working professionals like you in mind, so you can earn your MBA quickly without putting your career – or your life – on hold. The EMBA program offers a convenient and concise structure of coursework that allows you to earn the same degree as our regular MBA while balancing the demands of work and family. We understand that our students are concerned about juggling their professional and personal lives, so we’ve designed an educational program that encroaches as little as possible on existing commitments.
The EMBA starts once each year in late June with a mandatory, two-day orientation. During the first summer semester, classes meet every weekend in July and August; the schedule then converts to an every-other-weekend format for the remainder of the 25-month program. Classes are held at UNM’s main campus on Friday afternoons from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday mornings from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
So you’ll be free to focus on the academics, we are committed to handling just about everything else on your behalf. From application to graduation, you’ll receive executive-level service from our dedicated team of staff and student employees. No registering for classes. No waiting in lines. No visits to the bookstore. We’ll even provide a special parking permit and refreshments during class breaks. We take care of all the details so you can concentrate on earning your MBA.
